Purpose of the site
This site is a learning tool. I figured while I was at the learning, I might as well do something fun with it, so here it is. If you've found this place, it's a fluke. It's really for my consumption only. But welcome anyway.
Origin of "Canopus"
As you can see from the home page, the origin of the name "Canopus" is rather ancient. I, however, discovered it through the lore of the Battletech Universe.
